Dear Parents,

We start the 2nd academic term on a positive note with sincere prayers for a very safe and productive school year for our students, parents and staff. May Allah watch over and bless us as well as our entire nation-ameen!
Given the prevailing security concerns, we will be implementing very tough security measures and strategies. We strongly urge you to facilitate this process by following the procedures that are being put into place.

• A trained Security Officer and additional armed guards have been hired to monitor the surroundings from the check posts made inside the campus.
• Boundary walls have been raised along with razor wires for extra protection.
• Additional CCTV cameras have been installed to view the activities inside and outside the school.
• Law enforcement agencies will patrol and keep vigilance of the school and surrounding areas.
• Central alarm system has been installed. Lock down and evacuation drills will be carried out periodically by activating the alarm.
• Iron barriers and walk through gates have been installed. The entry procedure will take time. Parents and drivers are expected to exercise patience.
• Students must be ready with their bags etc. to walk inside the school as soon as they are dropped in the morning. Parents may not accompany their child/children as cars will not be allowed to stay parked for a long time.
• Traffic lanes are clearly marked for smooth flow. Cars cannot be parked next to the school boundary wall or in front of the school gates.
• Parents and drivers may only come inside the campus at pack up time and strictly confine themselves to the waiting areas which are clearly defined. Once the student’s ID is shown the school personnel will escort the student to the waiting area.
• Visitors are strictly not allowed inside the school premises during school hours. Parents may schedule appointments with the Heads after school hours.
• Parents and drivers must carry their original CNIC and their child’s school ID card to be allowed entry inside the campus at dispersal time.
• Use of cell phones by students, parents and drivers is strictly not allowed once they are inside the campus.
• Parents are advised & encouraged to car-pool in order to reduce traffic congestion.
• Please be punctual while picking your child from school. Ensure that you and your child/children leave the school premises as soon as possible.
• Students using public transport/ vans will be issued a card. They must wear the card to school daily.
• Please write your contact numbers in your child’s lesson diary. In case of change of a number, school must be immediately informed.
• School information must not be shared with any other member of the family, relatives, friends or on any social network e.g. facebook, twitter by parents & students.
• After school learning support classes, sports clinics and external activities have been suspended until further notice.
• School gates will be locked at 8:10 am sharp.
• School timings have been revised to facilitate smooth dispersal. Reporting time will remain 07:55 am. Parents with more than one child should pick their children as per the elder sibling’s time. Revised pack up timings are:

Parents and drivers are required to follow the traffic flow, follow the instructions of staff on duty & comply with all the rules expressed in this document. Similar cooperation is expected on any future rules & instructions shared with you by the school staff and/or law enforcement agencies. Please explain the rules to your domestic staff in detail as their failure to comply with the rules will directly reflect on you and may lead to serious consequences. We are committed to NOT take any chance which may jeopardize the safety of our students. We expect full cooperation in helping our students stay safe.

Dear Parents

The Mid Year Examination scheduled for Class 9, 10, 11 & A Levels on Dec 19 & 22 have been postponed. They will now take place on Jan 6 & 7, 2015 respectively.

Winter Break for students of all levels is from Dec 19 to Jan 5.

School will reopen for students on Jan 6, 2015.

Paper review will be conducted on Jan 7, 8, & 9.

Result for all levels will be given on Jan 10.

Considering the city situation, all TCS Schools in Karachi as well as SRO will remain closed tomorrow, Friday December 12 2014 for students and all cadres of staff.
